FAQs
Career counselling is a structured process in which a trained counsellor helps you understand your interests, abilities, personality and goals, and then explore suitable education and career options. The aim is to help you make an informed decision, not to make the decision for you.
Students make important choices, such as stream, subjects, degree and college, at a young age, often under peer or social pressure. Counselling helps them base these choices on self-understanding and accurate career information, which reduces the chance of costly changes later.
It is an online assessment that measures factors such as interests, aptitude, personality and learning style. The results are summarised in a report that suggests career clusters and options that may suit you. It is a decision-support tool, best used together with counselling.
Assessments are available for different stages, from Classes 2–7 (focusing on learning strengths and multiple intelligences) to Classes 8–10, Classes 11–12, graduates and working professionals. Classes 8–10 is a particularly useful time, as stream selection is approaching.
Yes. There is a dedicated career analysis for Classes 8, 9 and 10 that helps students explore suitable career paths and understand stream and subject preferences before making their choice after Class 10.
It shows which interest areas and aptitudes are strongest, and which career clusters align with them. The counsellor then maps those clusters to streams and subject combinations, so the stream choice supports the careers the student is most suited to.
Yes, and we encourage it. Parents are welcome to join the consultation and report discussion so that the whole family understands the student's strengths and the reasoning behind the recommendations.
Yes. Graduates often need to choose between a job, higher studies or a change of field. A graduate assessment and counselling session helps identify suitable opportunities and build a roadmap for the next steps.
Yes. There are assessments for early and mid-career professionals, as well as industry-specific assessments, to help with career growth or planning a transition.
Many people successfully change careers. Counselling helps you evaluate your transferable skills, interests and constraints, and plan a realistic transition, including any learning or qualifications you may need.
The duration depends on the assessment and age group. Assessments are taken online and can usually be completed in one sitting. The assessment portal shows the details before you begin.
Reports typically cover your interest, personality and aptitude profile, suitable career clusters and options, and guidance on educational pathways and next steps. Your counsellor explains the report and how to act on it.
Yes. We help with country, university and course selection, profile evaluation, admission requirements, applications, scholarship information, financial planning, visa preparation and pre-departure guidance.
